Cush Jumbo, born on September 23, 1985, in London, England, is an actress and writer known for her work across stage and screen. She gained prominence for portraying Lucca Quinn in the television series The Good Wife and its spin-off The Good Fight. Her notable roles also include appearing in ITV’s Vera and winning the Ian Charleson Award for her performance as Rosalind in As You Like It (2011).
Jumbo began honing her craft from a young age through dance classes before pursuing more serious acting training at the BRIT School in Selhurst after leaving Cator Park School for Girls. Her talent has been recognized with a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for playing Mark Antony in an all-female cast of Julius Caesar. Additionally, she wrote and starred in a one-woman show titled Josephine and I.
