Courtney Shelby is a gospel singer and reality star, best known as one-fifth of the family soul group The Shelby 5. She was born on November 26, 1991, in Detroit, Michigan.
She rose to fame alongside her siblings on the Oxygen reality series Preachers of Detroit. Their talent has been recognized with VoxPopuli wins and Independent Music Award nominations.
Prior to gaining widespread recognition, Courtney honed her musical skills as a violinist and vocalist within the group while also serving as their spokesperson. Notably, she and her siblings performed at the 2015 Stellar Awards.
