About Courtney Sanderson
Courtney Sanderson (born June 16, 2000) is an American dancer known for her role as the handstand twerking girl in the music video for DaBaby’s 2019 single “BOP on Broadway,” which has garnered over 300 million views on YouTube. She also made an appearance on Saturday Night Live in 2019.
Prior to gaining recognition as a dancer, Sanderson was a gymnast for 15 years and was involved with lacrosse and cheerleading. She briefly attended the University of Hawaii before pursuing her dance career.
Sanderson shared the story behind her appearance in DaBaby’s music video in a YouTube video titled “HOW I GOT IN DABABY’S MUSIC VIDEO,” published on her self-titled channel, which has amassed over 90,000 views.
She hails from the Bay Area of California where she was raised.
