Constance Bennett was an American actress born on October 22, 1904, in New York. She gained fame as a movie actress and appeared in ‘After Office Hours’ alongside Clark Gable, as well as in ‘Topper’ with Cary Grant.

Before her rise to stardom, she briefly lived in a convent before making her Hollywood debut in the 1924 film ‘Cytherea.’

A notable achievement for Bennett was her comeback film role as Lana Turner’s mother-in-law in ‘Madame X.’ Tragically, she died of a cerebral hemorrhage shortly after filming concluded.

Bennett was married five times and had three children.
