About Colleen Moore
Colleen Moore was a prominent movie actress, best known for her starring roles in silent films such as Little Orphant Annie (1918) and April Showers (1923). She also appeared in several “talkies,” including Success at Any Price (1934) and Social Register (1934).
Before gaining fame, she made her uncredited film debut in the 1916 feature The Prince of Graustark. Apart from her acting career, Moore was an avid doll and dollhouse collector; one of her elaborate dollhouses was exhibited at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.
Born Kathleen Morrison on August 19, 1899, in Michigan to Charles and Agnes Morrison, she later went on to live in Georgia and Florida. Her marriages to John McCormick and Albert Scott ended in divorce. Following this, she married Homer Hargrave until his passing in 1964. In the last five years of her life, she was married to Paul Maginot.
