Cokie Roberts, born on December 27, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana, was a prominent journalist known for her work as a TV news anchor, columnist and author. She gained recognition for her role as an analyst on This Week With George Stephanopoulos.
Before achieving fame, Roberts graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in political science in 1964. Throughout her career, she served as a contributing senior news analyst for NPR and worked as a political commentator for ABC News.
In 1966, Roberts married Steven V. Roberts and together they had two children named Rebecca and Lee Roberts.
