About Clark Backo
Clark Backo is a Canadian TV actress known for her roles in popular shows such as Letterkenny, I Want You Back, Designated Survivor, and 21 Thunder. Born on September 5, 1993, in Montreal, Canada, she received an Outstanding Performance nomination at the 2021 ACTRA Awards.
Backo made her film debut playing Brennan in Sadie’s Last Days on Earth and began her acting career with Beauty and the Beast in 2012. Prior to becoming an actress, she worked as a model and dancer. She also took acting lessons from Jock MacDonald at Straeon Studios during the year between high school and college.
In addition to her work in entertainment, Backo comes from a musically-inclined family – her father is renowned musician Njacko Backo – and has Cameroonian heritage despite being Canadian.
