About Clare Grogan
Clare Grogan, born on March 17th, 1962 in Glasgow, Scotland, is a Scottish TV actress known for her work as the lead vocalist of the 1980s band Altered Images. Her talent also extends to acting and she has appeared in popular shows such as Skins, EastEnders, and Red Dwarf.
Prior to her rise to fame, Grogan was a member of the Scottish Youth Theatre and worked as a waitress at the spaghetti Factory where she was discovered by film director Bill Forsyth. This opportunity led to her breakout role in the 1981 film Gregory’s Girl.
Beyond her musical and acting accomplishments, Grogan delved into children’s literature with the release of her novel Tallulah and the Teenstars in 2008. In her personal life, she married musician Stephen Lironi in 1994 and later welcomed an adopted daughter with him over ten years later.
