About Claire Buitendorp
Claire Buitendorp, born on April 25, 1990 in Michigan, is a fashion designer and reality TV star. She gained widespread recognition after appearing in the sixteenth season of Project Runway. As the co-owner and creative director of the streetwear brand Shock and Awww, she has collaborated with artists such as Little Mix, Katy Perry, and Betsey Johnson.
Prior to her success in the fashion industry, Claire studied fashion technology at Lansing Community College and entrepreneurial business at the University of Michigan-Flint. In addition to her work on Project Runway, Claire and her sister were victorious contestants on VH1’s reality television series Twinning.
Notably, Claire works closely with her identical twin sister Shawn Buitendorp in their design endeavors.
