Christine Sinclair, born on June 12, 1983, in Burnaby, Canada, is a renowned professional soccer player. She made her debut for the USL W-League’s Vancouver Breakers in 2001 and represented Canada during the 2015 Women’s World Cup. In early 2020, she surpassed Abby Wambach’s record for most international goals scored in soccer among both men and women.
Prior to her professional career, Sinclair played college soccer at the University of Portland and first joined Canada’s national team in 2000. Her outstanding achievements led her to win the Lou Marsh Trophy in 2012 – an award given to Canada’s top athlete.
