Christine Fernandes, born on March 1st, 1968 in Illinois, is a renowned Soap Opera Actress. Her most famous role was in the Brazilian soap opera Historia de Amor, and she also appeared in other telenovelas such as Essas Mulheres and Paginas da Vida.
Prior to her acting career, during her teenage years she played volleyball and pursued a career as a fashion model. Some of her film credits include roles in Lara, De Pernas Pro Ar 2, and O Xango de Baker Street.
In terms of family life, Christine was first married to Brazilian actor Marcelo Serrado from 1994 until 1999. Her second marriage is with Floriano Peixoto (also a Brazilian actor) with whom she shares a son named Pedro.
