Choi Sung-eun, born on June 17, 1996 in Seoul, South Korea, is a prominent TV actress known for her roles in various films and series.
She gained recognition for her portrayal of So Kyung-joo in the 2019 comedy film “Start-Up” and later appeared as Yoo Jae Yi in the mystery/thriller series “Beyond Evil”. In 2021, she joined the cast of the Netflix series “The Sound of Magic”.
Prior to her acting career taking off, Sung-eun studied acting at the Korea National University of Arts and performed as a theatre actress at the Doosan Art Center.
In 2020, she received Best New Actress at Chunsa Film Art Awards for her role in “Start-Up” and was nominated for Best New Actress – Television at the Baeksang Arts Awards in the following year for her performance in “Beyond Evil”.
Sung-eun has two brothers.
