Chloie Jonsson (born August 10, 1979) is a transgendered CrossFit athlete, Olympic lifter, and fitness instructor based in Morgan Hill, California. She has been featured in various news outlets including CNN, HuffingtonPost, and BuzzFeed.
Jonsson identified as female since her teenage years and underwent sexual reassignment surgery at age 25 in 2006. Notably, she sued CrossFit for $2.5 million after being banned from competing as a female despite being born male.
From her earliest memories, Jonsson felt that she was female despite being born in a male body. She legally changed her name to Chloie when she was 16.
