Chi Pu is a Vietnamese model and actress, born on June 14, 1993 in Hanoi, Vietnam. She gained recognition after making it to the top 20 of Miss Teen in 2009 and later went on to win Vietnam’s Teen Idol in 2013. She has since established herself as both a successful model and actress, with appearances in films such as My Sunshine, Girl on the Rooftop, and Love: Yeu.
Prior to her fame, Chi Pu studied at RMIT University. She is known for her role in Girl on the Rooftop, which earned a nomination for a Golden Kite Award for Best Short Film. Additionally, she was nominated for a Golden Apricot Blossom Award for Favorite Movie Actress in Love: Yeu.
Chi Pu was born Nguyen Thuy Chi to parents who worked as a soldier and teacher respectively. She also has an older sister named Nguyen Thuy Van.
