Chaka Khan, born on March 23, 1953 in Naval Station, Illinois, is a renowned funk singer and musician. She gained fame for her hit rendition of Prince’s “I Feel for You” and as the lead vocalist for Rufus.

Prior to her musical career, Khan left high school to perform with Hassan Khan, whom she later married. Recognized as the Queen of Funk, she also appeared on season three of The Masked Singer.

Khan has been married three times – first to Hassan Khan in 1970, then to Richard Holland in 1976 before marrying Doug Rasheed in 2001. With Hassan, she had a daughter named Milini and with Richard Holland, she welcomed a son named Damien.
