Celia Pavey, born on January 23, 1994 in Australia, is a folk singer and multi-instrumentalist who gained recognition after finishing third in the second season of The Voice Australia. In 2013, she released her debut album This Music followed by the EP Bodies. Subsequently, she embarked on a new musical project under the pseudonym Vera Blue.
Pavey began singing as a child and later learned to play the guitar, eventually performing acoustically. She was nominated for a Fun Fearless Female Award in a 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
She comes from a family of five; her mother Donna gave birth to three children – Celia being the middle child between her elder sister Em and younger brother James.
