About Cecily Tynan
Cecily Tynan, born on March 19, 1969 in Newton, Connecticut, is a journalist and television reporter known for her work with the Philadelphia-based station WPVI-TV. She began working at WPVI-TV in 1995 and has also hosted the Saturday evening news program Primetime Weekend.
Prior to her career in journalism, Tynan graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Virginia.
Aside from her professional accomplishments, she is an exceptional athlete and was featured on the cover of Runner’s World magazine in February 2001.
Tynan has a family life as well. She was previously married to Michael Badger before marrying Greg Watson. Together they have children named Luke and Emma.
