Cathy Shipton is an English actress known for her role as Lisa “Duffy” Duffin in the BBC series Casualty. Born on March 27, 1957, in England, she also appeared in the Spice World movie and the 1990 series Little Sir Nicholas.
Before pursuing acting, Shipton studied languages and journalism before enrolling at Rose Bruford College from 1977 to 1980. Her acting career began with a receptionist role in the series Hold the Back Page in 1985.
In addition to her notable roles, Shipton starred alongside Linda Armstrong in Sweet Revenge and Joking Apart in a double show during 2005.
She is married to fellow actor Christopher Guard and they have a daughter named Tallulah.
