Cathy Barriga is a Chilean TV personality and politician, born on April 9, 1973 in Santiago, Chile. She is known for her work as the mayor of Maipu since 2016.
Prior to her political career, Barriga was famous for her appearances on shows such as “Damn It,” “Mekano,” “The Farm,” and “Fever Dance.” She holds a psychology degree from Santo Tomas University.
Outside of her professional life, Barriga won the Queen of Beaches and Pools beauty competition in 1990. In 2009, she married politician Joaquin Lavin Leon with whom she has three children.
