Cassie Potter is an American curler born on October 30, 1981, in Minnesota. She gained recognition as the skipper who led the United States women’s curling team to a silver medal at the 2005 World Curling Championship and went on to coach the team at the 2006 Olympics.
Potter’s interest in curling began at a young age of five when she learned from her competitive curler parents. Her dedication to the sport culminated with a gold win at the World Junior Curling Championships in 2002.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Potter also values family life. She has a daughter born in 2013, and her sister Jamie Haskell was part of the silver medal-winning team at the 2005 World Curling Championships.
