About Cassidy Krug
Cassidy Krug is an American diver who was born on July 12, 1985 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She represented her country at the 2012 Olympic Games, finishing seventh. In addition to her Olympic participation, she also won silver and bronze medals at the 2011 Pan American Games.
Prior to her diving career, Krug began practicing gymnastics at the age of three and achieved level 10 status. As a teenager, she competed at the Junior Olympics before transitioning into diving.
Krug attended Stanford University where she excelled as both an athlete and student. She was an All-American and Pac-10 All-Academic during her time there.
Her family has strong connections to diving – both of her parents are diving coaches, and she has a brother named Kyle.
