About Cassi Davis
Cassi Davis (born July 11, 1964) is a movie actress best known for her role as Ella Payne on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne from 2006 to 2012. Hailing from Holly Springs, Mississippi, she has also appeared in various other Tyler Perry productions such as Madea’s Family Reunion where she portrayed Aunt Sarah.
Prior to gaining fame for her television roles, Davis made an appearance in Spike Lee’s film School Daze in 1988 and later featured in an episode of Nickelodeon’s Kenan and Kel in 1996.
With a background in music, Davis attended Spelman College in Atlanta before going on to marry Cassi Davis in 2017.
