Casimere Jollette, born on March 26, 1996 in Chicago, Illinois, is a movie actress known for her role as Claire Sutron in the film Divergent. She made her feature film debut in Sweet 16 and began starring as Bette Whitlaw on Netflix’s Tiny Pretty Things in 2020.
Before pursuing acting, Jollette started dancing at age 2 and modeling at age 7. Trained as a professional ballerina, she was a competitive dancer and national championship winner throughout her childhood, studying various dance styles.
Jollette was discovered by an acting coach at age 14 who rented space from her mother’s dance studio. Due to her ballet training, she was considered for a lead role on the ABC series Bunheads. Her television debut came on the show Chicago P.D. in 2014.
She was raised in Chicago by Carolyn and Ralph Jollette. Notably, Carolyn is a former Chicago Bears cheerleader.
