Carrie Marie Henn, born on May 7, 1976 in Panama City, Florida, is a former child actress known for her portrayal of Newt in the science fiction film Aliens. Following her appearance in the iconic movie, Henn made the decision not to pursue acting further and has since only been involved in several science fiction documentaries such as Alien Encounters and Alien Evolution.

Prior to her role in Aliens, she had no previous experience in the entertainment industry. She graduated from college with a degree in liberal studies and child development before working as a school teacher in California.

Henn has one sibling, Christopher, and married Nathan Kutcher in 2005.
