Carolyn Conwell (born May 16, 1930 in Illinois) is best known for her role as Mary Williams on the long-running soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” which she portrayed for over 20 years. Prior to her soap opera fame, Conwell graduated from Lawrence College in Wisconsin with a degree in Theatre Arts. She has also made appearances on other popular television shows including “Knots Landing,” “General Hospital,” “The Big Valley” and “Medical Center.” Conwell is a proud parent of three children.
