About Carolina Kasting
Carolina Kasting (born July 12, 1975) is a Brazilian TV actress known for her work in television series and feature films. She has appeared in TVI original series’, with notable roles in the 2010 series “Escrito nas Estrelas” and the 2006 series “O Profeta”.
Before entering acting, Kasting pursued ballet at the Teatro Guaira in Curitiba at age fourteen, later transitioning to theater and studying drama in Sao Paulo. She made her television debut in 1996 as Valentina in the series “Anjo de Mim”.
Kasting won the Best Actress award at the Recife Cinema Festival in 2002 for her role in the film “Sonhos Tropicais”. She was born and raised in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil; her sister Rejane Arruda is also a Brazilian actress.
