Carol Burnett, born on April 26, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas, is a renowned TV show host. She is best known for hosting The Carol Burnett Show on CBS for a decade, during which she won Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Awards for her work in various genres.
Before rising to fame, Burnett worked as an usherette and hat-check girl while living in a boarding house for women pursuing careers in acting. She also starred in the theater hit Once Upon a Mattress.
Burnett’s diverse career also included appearances on The Twilight Zone as Agnes Grep in an episode titled “Cavender Is Coming” and Get Smart as “Ozark” Annie Jones in an episode titled “One of Our Olives Is Missing.”
In terms of family life, Burnett has been married three times – to Don Saroyan on December 15, 1955; to Joe Hamilton on May 4 ,1963; and to Brian Miller on November 24, 2001. She had three daughters with Joe named Carrie ,Erin and Jody.
