She was born on December 4, 1968 in Canada. She attended St. Thomas University, Maritime Business College, and Dalhousie University before gaining fame as a comedian.
Palmater was nominated for an East Coast Music Award and an ACTRA Award during her career. She grew up with six siblings and passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 53.
