Candice Glover (born November 22, 1989) is an R&B singer from Beaufort, South Carolina. She gained widespread recognition after winning the twelfth season of American Idol and released her debut album in 2014.
Prior to her American Idol victory, Glover auditioned for the show twice before making a breakthrough on the twelfth season. Her rendition of “Lovesong” by The Cure became renowned as one of the best performances in American Idol history.
