About Bunny Gibson
Bunny Gibson, born on January 19, 1946 in Jersey City, New Jersey, is a well-known movie actress. She gained fame as the headliner on the TV program American Bandstand as a dancer from 1959 to 1961. Her career also includes roles in films such as The Back-Up Plan, Silence Speaks, and Ruth, as well as numerous guest appearances on various television shows.
Prior to her rise to fame, she auditioned for American Bandstand at the age of 13 and continued until she was 15. During her time on the show, she was featured in several teen magazines including 16 and Teen Screen.
Fun fact: Bunny initially auditioned for American Bandstand with the goal of meeting her favorite singer at that time – Bobby Rydell. In addition to her work in film and television, she appeared in three episodes of Compromising Situations between 1994 and1995.
Bunny has two daughters from her seven-year marriage with ex-husband Don Travarelli. She now enjoys being a grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one.
