Buffie Carruth, born on January 7, 1977 in Athens, Georgia, is a model, fitness instructor, and actress known professionally as Buffie The Body. She gained fame as a popular video vixen for various hip hop artists and appeared in numerous magazines. In 2007, Carruth started her own fitness emporium and also owns the Brick Built apparel company.
Carruth rose to prominence after a bikini photoshoot that was initially meant as a gift for her boyfriend went viral when the photographer uploaded the images to the internet. Following this unintentional exposure, she became widely recognized in the urban modeling industry which led to her gaining significant attention.
In 2012, Buffie Carruth became a Certified Personal Trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine and subsequently transitioned from the urban modeling industry to focus on inspiring women in fitness. Notably abstaining from drinking or smoking during her career journey, she aimed to motivate real women with her lifestyle choices and dedication to health and wellness.
Born into a large family with seven children including herself; unfortunately tragedy struck when one of her younger sisters passed away due to cancer in 2005 followed by the loss of her mother in 2012. Despite these heartaches she married her longtime boyfriend in 2015.
