Brooke Elliott (born November 16, 1974) is an American TV actress hailing from Fridley, Minnesota. She is best known for her role as Jane Bingum on the television series Drop Dead Diva and also had a small part in the Mel Gibson film What Women Want.
Elliott’s acting career began during high school where she performed in various plays. Prior to her TV breakthrough, she worked as a waitress at a 1950s-themed restaurant. Notably, she toured with a production of Beauty and the Beast in which she played the Sugar Bowl.
Elliott was born to Robert and Kathleen Elliott, and has a brother named Adam and a sister named Jamie.
