About Britney Joy
Britney Joy, born on July 14, 1987 in California, was an American TikTok star, YouTuber, and vlogger known for her comedy skits and lifestyle videos. She also engaged with followers on Instagram and operated a fashion website. In 2022, she launched her TikTok channel “thatgirlbritneyjoy,” quickly amassing a dedicated fanbase due to her humor.
Prior to fame, Britney resided in Houston, Texas after moving from California. She obtained a degree in communications from Texas Christian University before working as a marketing manager and transitioning to creating TikTok content.
Known for her rapid follower growth – increasing from 4,000 to over 400K within four months – Britney was an avid Beyoncé fan who frequently featured the singer’s music in her videos.
Tragically, Britney passed away alongside her mother on June 19th, 2023 following a car accident while en route to a Juneteenth event. Her mother Sherie Smith and younger sister Tiffany Cofield survive them both.
