About Brianna Keilar
Brianna Keilar is an Australian-born journalist who has made a name for herself in Washington D.C., working as a CNN White House and political correspondent. Before that, she reported for CBS Evening News Weekend Edition. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a degree in Communications and Psychology, then worked as a production assistant at a Fox-affiliated station in Oakland California. After covering the 2008 financial bailout she won the National Press Foundations Everett McKinley Dirksen Award. Although originally from Australia, Brianna was raised mostly in Southern California. You may know her best from when she filled in for Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s The Situation Room!
