Breanna Barksdale (born April 9, 1995) is a former collegiate volleyball player known for her role as the middle blocker for Auburn University’s women’s team. Hailing from San Diego, California, she gained widespread public attention due to her relationship with professional basketball player Kyrie Irving.
Before rising to prominence in the media spotlight, Barksdale had already established herself as a skilled athlete. During her freshman season at Auburn, she held a starting position in every game. In recognition of her talents on the court, Barksdale was named to the Auburn Invitational All-Tournament Team in 2016.
Barksdale is the daughter of Derek and Susan Barksdale. Her high-profile relationship with Kyrie Irving began in 2017 but ultimately ended in 2018.
