About Bradie Tennell
Bradie Tennell is quite the athlete! She began learning to skate at age two, and has been training at Twin Rinks Ice Pavilion in Buffalo Grove Illinois for most of her career. In 2018 she won her first U.S. Figure Skating Championship and secured a spot on the Olympic team where she earned a bronze medal in the team event. Before that, Bradie had already won the junior gold medal at the 2015 U.S Championships – an impressive feat! Unfortunately during 2015 and 2016 she suffered stress fractures in her lumbar vertebra, but thankfully was able to continue skating after recovering. Even more impressive though is that two of Bradie’s younger brothers are ice hockey players – talk about athletic genes! After Karen Chen stepped down as U.S champion in womens singles figure skating, it was clear who would take her place: Bradie Tennell!
