About Bona
Bona, born on August 19, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea, is a pop singer known for her work as a member of the 13-member K-pop girl group Cosmic Girls (also known as WJSN). The group was formed by Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment and originally divided into four subgroups.
Prior to gaining fame as part of Cosmic Girls, Bona became a member of the first unit of the group called the Wonder Unit in December 2015. She has also been featured in an article titled “Next Body Icon, Cosmic Girls!” in Cosmopolitan Korea’s February issue.
Although she was born Kim Jiyeon, she goes by her stage name Bona professionally.
