Bibi Bourelly is a pop singer, songwriter, and performer who was born on July 14, 1994 in Berlin, Germany. She gained attention for her songwriting skills after penning several hits for Rihanna including “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “Higher,” and for being featured on Lil Wayne’s “Without You.” In addition to her songwriting success, she also released her own singles “Riot” in April 2015 and “Ego” in October 2015.
Prior to achieving fame in the music industry, Bibi Bourelly relocated from Berlin to Washington DC before eventually settling in Los Angeles to pursue her career. She collaborated with various producers which ultimately led to a meeting with Kanye West.
During the release of “Bitch Better Have My Money,” Bourelly was involved in controversy when Houston-based rapper Just Brittany claimed that they had plagiarized her song. Dedicated fans of Bibi rallied behind her amidst the allegations.
