About Betsy Landin
Betsy Landin (born August 12, 1987) is a Puerto Rican movie actress known for her role as Kat the dolphin trainer in Dolphin Tale and its sequel, Dolphin Tale 2. She has also made appearances in episodes of Ray Donovan and The Mindy Project.
Before pursuing acting, Landin grew up singing and performing in church. She was named Miss Puerto Rico of Orlando in 2002. Additionally, she studied music at Rollins College and appeared in the short film parody Game of Scones.
Landin spent her early years in Puerto Rico before relocating to Orlando, Florida at the age of nine.
