Bess Byers, also known as CannaBess, is an American photographer specializing in cannabis photography. She has gained recognition for her work, sharing photographs of plants she grows and capturing the aesthetic appeal of cannabis smoke on Instagram to over 80,000 followers.
Before pursuing a career in photography, Byers obtained a BA in Public Relations from Washington State University. Following graduation, she relocated to Washington where she initially worked with Western Cultured before transitioning to sales and marketing roles. In 2016, she began working as a photographer for Grassworks Digital.
Aside from her work within the cannabis industry, Byers has contributed to market research for various companies and has collaborated with clients such as Nike, Apple, Louis Vuitton, and Grey Goose.
