About Berta Vazquez
Birtukan Tibebe, known publicly as Berta Vazquez, was born on March 28, 1992 in Kiev, Ukraine. She is a Ukrainian actress known for her role as La Rizos in the television series Vis a vis and as Bisila in the 2015 film Palm Trees in the Snow.
Her entertainment career began with dance lessons at the age of thirteen and she later auditioned for The Voice Spain in 2013 before transitioning to acting. Vazquez has also appeared in several acclaimed short films including L’Agent and Las pequenas cosas.
Vazquez’s parents are both Ethiopian, but she moved from Kiev to Spain with her family when she was only three years old. Additionally, she was in a relationship with fellow actor Mario Casas from 2014 to 2016.
