Becky Ann Baker, born on February 17, 1953, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, is a television actress known for her roles as Jean Weir on Freaks and Geeks and Loreen Horvath on Girls. She has also appeared in popular films such as Men in Black (1997) and Spider-Man 3 (2007).

Before her acting career took off, Baker moved from army base to army base as a child due to her parents’ occupation.

In 1990, she married actor Dylan Baker with whom she has a daughter named Willa.

Baker’s talent and work have been recognized with accolades including a Drama-Logue Award for her performance in the stage play Night and Her Stars.
