About Beatrice Egli
Beatrice Egli rose to fame after winning Deutschland sucht den Superstar (aka Germany Seeks the Superstar) in 2013. Since then, she’s sold over a million records across Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as winning a Swiss Music Award for Best Female Solo Act. She’s released three successful albums since her win and has made numerous TV appearances on networks like ZDF MDR and SRF. Before auditioning for DSDS, Beatrice sang at festivals as a teen and had trained at hairdressing school. She also attended acting classes! Her parents are Bruno and Ida Elgi-Keller – making her the second Swiss contestant to win DSDS after Luca Hanni in Season 9.
