Beatie Edney (born October 23, 1962) is a British television actress hailing from London, England. She is best known for her portrayal of Prudie Paynter in the hit period series “Poldark” and her role as Jane Kennedy in “The Coroner.”
Prior to her success on television, Edney gained prominence as Heather MacLeod in the 1986 film “Highlander,” which marked the beginning of a successful film series. In addition, she reprised her role in a later sequel titled “Highlander: Endgame.”
