About BC Jean
BC Jean, born on April 22, 1987 in San Diego, California, is a pop singer. She was originally signed by J Records as part of RCA Music Group and released her first song, “Just a Guy,” in 2010. In 2015, she formed the indie pop duo Alexander Jean with her husband Mark Ballas.
Prior to fame, BC Jean learned to play the piano from a young age and drew inspiration from poetry for writing song lyrics. She also starred on the YouTube web series Talent as Harper.
Beyond her musical pursuits, she has been influenced by her father who played the piano and trumpet himself. In June 2016, BC Jean married Mark Ballas and they announced their expectation of their first child together in June 2023.
