About Bayley
Pamela Rose Martinez, better known as Bayley, is a professional wrestler who made history by becoming the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Sasha Banks. She began her career with promotions like Shine Wrestling and NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood before joining WWE’s developmental wrestling branch NXT. Bayley has been inspiring aspiring wrestlers since she attended matches put on by Northern California-based promotion Big Time Wrestling at 11 years old! Her success earned her a spot in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s 2013 list of 50 best female singles wrestler (she was #19). Outside of the ring, Bayley credits her parents as big inspiration for pursuing wrestling while she previously engaged to fellow wrestler Aaron Solow (though they called it off in 2021). In NXT, her first win came by teaming up with Charlotte in September 2013. She also competed with Ember Moon and remains good friends with Trish Stratus.
