Basetsana Kumalo, born on March 29, 1974 in Soweto, South Africa, is a well-known television personality and businesswoman. She gained recognition as the host of the groundbreaking South African lifestyle program Top Billing. Following her success on television, she transitioned to serve as the editor-in-chief of Top Billing magazine and assumed the role of President of the Business Women’s Association of South Africa.

Prior to her rise to fame, Basetsana Kumalo supported her family by selling sandwiches at soccer matches while attending Thabisang Primary School. Her contributions and influence were recognized when she was honored as one of the 100 Greatest South Africans by the television series Great South Africans in 2004.

In her personal life, Basetsana Kumalo is married to businessman Romeo Kumalo with whom she has children named Bontle, Nkosinathi and uShaka.
