Born on November 16, 1946 in Ringgold, Georgia, she has also made a name for herself through modeling and gained particular attention for a photo shoot where she portrayed the Vampirella comic book character.
Prior to rising to fame, Leigh kick-started her screen career with an appearance in the 1969 television movie The Ballad of Andy Crocker.
