Bahar Kizil, born on October 5, 1988 in Germany, is a pop singer and songwriter. Known for her role as a founding member of the popular girl group Monrose, she gained international recognition after the band emerged victorious in season five of the talent competition Popstars.Before pursuing her music career, Kizil started practicing ballet at age twelve. In 2009, she released her debut solo single “Memories,” a collaboration with Cristobal Galvez Moreno.Kizil was born in Freiburg to parents of Turkish descent and grew up alongside a sister.
