About Baek Yerin
Baek Yerin is a South Korean pop singer and songwriter born on June 26, 1997 in Daejeon, South Korea.
She is best known for being a member of the K-pop duo 15& alongside Park Ji-Min. The pair released their debut album “Sugar” in 2014 and have since claimed several top ten singles including “Can’t Hide It” and “Love is Madness”.
Yerin made one of her earliest appearances in 2007 singing on the SBS reality show Amazing Contest Star King. She then auditioned for JYP Entertainment and spent the next five years training with them.
In November 2015, she embarked on her solo career, releasing the debut album “Frank” followed by the 2016 EP “Bye Bye My Blue”.
Born in Daejeon, she grew up in South Korea but lived many of her training years in New York City where her family settled.
